|
Glasgow Aquarius sauna According to this article: At special meeting of Glasgow licensing committee on April 13, police revealed that they have solid evidence of sex trafficking in Glasgow's sex industry. It is believed that girls from at least 22 countries are working as prostitutes in Glasgow, many from eastern Europe and Asia. Aquarius sauna lost it's public entertainment licence after operating as a brothel controlled by George Colahan (jailed in March for 9 months for running a brothel and living off immoral earnings.) Chinese businessman "Tony Lee" is co-owner of Aquarius sauna. In 2002, a raid on a Glasgow brothel found a number of foreign women but no proof of trafficking. Since then at least a dozen trafficked women have come to the attention of staff working with prostitutes. |
